About Me

Hi! My name is E Tucker Wolfson (yeah, my first name is just the letter), but I go by Tucker. I am a current Game Design student at Champlain College with a minor in Cybersecurity.

I’ve always wanted to be a game designer, but not just because I like video games, but because I love the process of making them. I love fixating on a problem obsessively (but not in a weird way) until I solve it. Every detail, from technical art and post-processing, to programming tools and designing levels, is fascinating to me, and I enjoy the challenge of solving them.

I lived in an area where industry connections were few and far between, so I had to figure out ways to teach myself. During this time, I found a start-up company that was teaching kids programming, and was asked to help teach. I was the first student at my high school to ever consider going into game design, and the first student at Champlain College to major in Game Design while minoring in Cybersecurity. At Champlain, I was also a teacher’s assistant of Game History, which involved troubleshooting old hardware and figuring out complex emulation.

My goal is to create memorable, unique experiences for other people, and to inspire them in the same way that I was inspired by the games that I played. I am an incredibly motivated worker, with strong problem solving and creative skills, with an acute attention to detail. I have had plenty of experience with Agile and SCRUM, and have collaborated with many different kinds of people throughout my career. I can provide value to any group that I am a part of, and will approach every task with enthusiasm, positivity, and care.
